On 4 November 2020, before the academic year 1/2020 ended, 40 K2 students at Naresuan University Demonstration School, had met the Doctor Hero Team led by Assistant Professor Dr. Kanrawee Sungprem, a pediatrician at Naresuan University Hospital, and Mr. Peerawit Ngouvisitkul, the parents of Meesuk in Baby Corn Class. The two heroes were teamed up with Medical Dr. Veerawan Rattanapiboon, an emergency specialist and a medical teacher Buddhachinaraj Hospital, including nine medical students, to organise the activity “Little Doctor Classroom: Great Fun & Good Health with Doctor Heroes” under the project “You Are My Hero.” The activity helped the students learn how to prepare themselves before meeting doctors and realise that it was not a scary issue. The kids also learned how to look after themselves as a first aider such as cleaning the nose when catching a cold, washing hands, learning Basic Life Support. The students also enjoyed role-playing to know about medical care by acting as a doctor or patient in easy situations through fun games and getting inspired to take care of themselves and others – a value of learning that comes with happiness at NUDS.
