สังคมโลก ไม่ได้มีแค่มนุษย์ที่พึ่งพาอาศัยกัน แต่มีสิ่งมีชีวิตอีกมากมายที่ดำรงชีวิตอยู่ได้ด้วยระบบนิเวศเดียวกัน เช่น ต้นไม้ พืช สัตว์ตัวเล็กๆ เพื่อความสมดุลของชีวิต ซึ่งกิจกรรม You Are My Hero ตอน Crayfish World (โลกของกุ้งเครฟิช) สามารถถ่ายทอดแนวคิดดังกล่าวผ่านการเรียนรู้นอกห้องเรียนให้เด็กๆ ได้เป็นอย่างดี
เมื่อวันที่ 20 กันยายน 2562 ที่ผ่านมา คุณวิวัฒน์ เพชรยื้อ ผู้มีความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการเพาะเลี้ยงสัตว์น้ำประเภทกุ้งเครฟิช และในฐานะผู้ปกครองของนักเรียน ได้ร่วมจัดกิจกรรมสร้างเสริมประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ Crayfish World ภายใต้โครงการ You Are My Hero เพื่อให้เด็กนักเรียนชั้นอนุบาล 1 ได้เรียนรู้และสังเกตจากสิ่งมีชีวิตของจริง โดยนำกุ้งเครฟิชสายพันธุ์เพาะเลี้ยงมาจัดแสดง สาธิตและบรรยาย ให้เด็กๆ ได้รู้จักวงจรชีวิตและสิ่งแวดล้อมของสัตว์ประเภทนี้ ซึ่งมีหลากหลายประเภท ทั้งสีสัน ขนาด ลักษณะนิสัย การเลี้ยงดู และการให้อาหาร เด็กๆ ทุกคนต่างตื่นเต้น และสนใจที่จะเรียนรู้จากผู้บรรยายที่เป็นทั้งวิทยากรและคุณพ่อของเพื่อนๆ ที่พวกเขาคุ้นเคย ทำให้ไม่ลังเลที่จะตั้งคำถามมากมายเพื่อหาคำตอบที่สงสัย นอกจากชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของ Crayfish แล้ว เด็กๆ ยังได้เรียนรู้การอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น ไม่ทิ้งขยะลงในน้ำ ไม่ทำร้ายสัตว์ ทำอย่างไรไม่ให้สัตว์ทำร้ายเรา หรือ สัตว์เป็นเสมือนเพื่อนของเราที่ควรรู้วิธีที่จะอยู่ร่วมกัน เป็นต้น
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ เป็นหนึ่งในการเรียนรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เริ่มต้นจากสัตว์น้ำตัวเล็กๆ ซึ่งแตกต่างจากสัตว์เลี้ยงทั่วไปที่เด็กๆ เคยเห็น สิ่งสำคัญที่สุด คือ พวกเขาได้เรียนรู้ว่า มนุษย์และสัตว์มีรูปแบบการดำรงชีวิตแตกต่างกัน และทุกชีวิตมีความสำคัญไม่ต่างกัน…เพราะอาศัยอยู่ในโลกใบเดียวกัน

Save Animals : Save the World
“You Are My Hero: Crayfish World”
The world society has not only human beings that depend on each other but also other living things that live within the same ecosystem such as trees, plants, tiny animals, to remain the balance of life. To convey such a concept, the project You Are My Hero (Episode: Crayfish World) was organised for NUDS students to promote learning activities outside the classroom.
On 20 September 2019, Mr. Wiwat Phetyue, an expert of raising freshwater crayfish and the father of a NUDS student, shared his knowledge by setting up the learning activity Crayfish World under the project You Are My Hero for K1 students at Naresuan University Demonstration School (Kindergarten and Primary). Through the project, the children learned and observed the real living thing from various breeds of crayfish with different colours, sizes, behaviours, including how to raise and feed them. All students showed their excitement and interest by asking many questions to the hero and the familiar father of their friend. Apart from the life of crayfish, the students also learned how to save the environment such as not throwing trash into rivers, not hurting animals, protecting oneself from being attacked by animals or living with animals as if they are friends.
This activity is a way of learning environment by starting from small aqua animals different from other ones that they have seen. Most importantly, the students have learned that humans and animals have different ways of life but similar values of existence…because we are living in the same world.
