ในขณะที่กระแสการดูแลสุขภาพด้วยวิถีธรรมชาติ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านการรับประทานอาหาร การออกกำลังกาย การท่องเที่ยวเชิงสุขภาพ หรือการบำบัดด้วยวิธีธรรมชาติ กำลังเป็นที่นิยมในเมืองไทย จะเป็นการดีหรือไม่ ถ้าหากวันนี้เราสามารถทำให้คนรุ่นใหม่ได้เรียนรู้และสัมผัสวิถีดังกล่าวตั้งแต่วัยเยาว์ด้วยกิจกรรม “เล่นเพื่อเรียนรู้” เพื่อให้เขาได้ซึบซับความเป็นธรรมชาติ เติบโตเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่สมบูรณ์ และเข้าใจการใช้ชีวิตอย่างแท้จริง
เพื่อให้บรรลุจุดประสงค์ดังกล่าว เมื่อวันที่ 4 กุมภาพันธ์ 2563 นักเรียนโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร (ปฐมวัยและประถมศึกษา) ระดับชั้นอนุบาล 1 ทั้ง 40 คน จึงได้ร่วมลงมือปลูกข้าวและดำนาด้วยตนเองอย่างสนุกสนาน ณ ทุ่งนา ของคุณจักรกฤษณ์ สนอ่อง และคุณปิยวรรณ อรรณพันธ์ เจ้าหน้าที่บริหารงานทั่วไปของมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร และเป็นคุณพ่อคุณแม่ของน้องมาริโอ ซึ่งทั้งสองได้ให้เกียรติมาเป็น “ยอดมนุษย์” ของเด็กๆ ในโครงการ You Are My Hero ตอน หว่านกล้าดำนา พร้อมทั้งสาธิตการทำนา ให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับเครื่องมือการเกษตร และนำชมสัตว์เลี้ยงพื้นบ้านต่างๆ ด้วยห้องเรียนของเด็กๆ ในวันนี้โอบล้อมด้วยธรรมชาติ ทั้งต้นไม้ น้ำ อากาศ และวิถีชีวิตพื้นบ้านที่อบอุ่น นักเรียนทุกคนจึงตื่นเต้น เต็มไปด้วยพลัง และสนใจที่จะเรียนรู้ขั้นตอนต่างๆ ในการทำนาเป็นอย่างมาก ซึ่งทางโรงเรียนสาธิตฯ หวังว่า ประสบการณ์ที่เด็กๆ ได้รับในครั้งนี้ จะกลายเป็นสิ่งมีค่าที่ส่งผลต่อศักยภาพการเรียนรู้ในระยะยาว และเป็นพื้นฐานในการต่อยอดการใช้ชีวิตอย่างมั่นคงต่อไป

Healing trends in holistic health and wellness, no matter in eating, exercise, healthy tourism or natural treatment, are popular in Thailand these days. Wouldn’t it be good if we could let young generation to learn and experience such trends in childhood with “play-to-learn” activities? The aim is to make them feel nature, grow up as a whole person and live a life with true understanding.
To achieve such an aim, on 4 February 2020, the 40 students of Naresuan University Demonstration School (Kindergarten and Primary), participated in growing rice with great fun on the paddy field of Mr. Jakrit Son-Ong and Mrs. Piyawan Annapan, the administrative officers at Naresuan University and the parents of Mario, who wholeheartedly devoted their time to be “heroes” for the children in the project “You Are My Hero: Growing Up by Growing Rice.” The two heroes explained the kids how to grow rice, provided them knowledge of architectural tools and showed them some animals. As the classroom was surrounded by nature: trees, water, air and warm local way of life, the students were extremely excited, enthusiastic and eager to learn all steps of growing rice. Through this project, NUDS hopes that the experiences which the students have got will be beneficial to their learning in the long run and used as a foundation for their wellbeing in the future.
